As you know, pizza is one of my favorite things to eat! I love a classic pepperoni pizza, but sometimes you've got to mix it up!
Ingredients:
2-3 pieces of chicken (I buy chicken tenders)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 packs of dry pizza dough mix (I use Kroger Brand or Betty Crocker, which I've only found at Walmart)
1/2 cup BBQ Sauce (I use Sweet Baby Rays)
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup cilantro, roughly chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven according to the suggested temperature on the pizza dough packets (temperature varies depending on brand)
Mix the 2 dough packets with 1 cup of hot water
Cover dough and let rise at least 10 minutes
Grilled chicken, adding garlic powder, chili powder, and dash of salt and pepper
Cut chicken into small bitesize pieces
Place 1-2 tablespoons of oil on pan and roll out pizza dough, folding edges to create crust
Top dough with BBQ sauce
Add mozzarella cheese, onion, cilantro, and chicken
Cook for 18-21 minutes or until crust is golden brown
Slice and serve!
