Fall Bucket List

It's the best time of year (okay, maybe I'm biased) but we are finally in the cooler days, leaves changing, and football games. I'm an adventure seeker especially during my favorite season. Here are my top 10 things to do this fall with some of my favorite places, which yes, you can do while social distancing!

  1. Visit an apple orchard.

  2. A few of my favorites in the southern region: Justus Orchard (Hendersonville, NC), Red Apple Barn (Ellijay, GA), Mercier Orchard (Blue Ridge, GA), Carver's Orchard (Cosby, TN)

  3. Go to a pumpkin patch and carve a pumpkin! (Oakes Farm, Ballinger Farm Crazy Maze, Echo Valley Corn Maze, Narramore Farms Pumpkin Patch, Trader Joe's)

  4. Search your way through a corn maze! (all farms above have corn mazes! But know that these mazes/patches have different hours and admission limits due to COVID)

  5. Watch fall/halloween related movies. (My faves: Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, Rudy, Remember the Titans, and any rom com!)

  6. Attend or host a bonfire.

  7. Bake apple or pumpkin treats. (My faves: pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, apple pie, apple crisp, pumpkin pie)

  8. Watch a football game. (Can I get a Go Dawgs!? Or any team really. We are lucky to watch something!)

  9. Go for a hike. (I love hiking in the Smokies, Blue Ridge Mountains, Appalachian Mountains)

  10. Sip on a cozy drink. (PSL, apple cider, lattes, and more!)

  11. Decorate! (Visit Hobby Lobby, Target, Amazon and Bath and Body Works for all your fall needs!)
